Helpful Hints for a Happy Storytime

Participation: The Books and Babes and Toddler Storytimes are a sharing time between child and caregiver. Please make alternate arrangements for siblings.

Caregivers of children attending the Storytime session for 3-5 or 4-6 year olds are required to remain in the building.

Please speak with us before your child's first storytime if you think your child may have trouble separating from you.

Food Allergies: Be sure to indicate any allergies when you register online as we may illustrate storytime with an edible treat.

Before storytime, please ask your child to use the bathroom and remind him or her of appropriate storytime behavior.

Attendance: If your child must miss a Storytime, please call us at 973-729-3101. After two absences without notification, we will assume that you are no longer interested in the program and your child's place will be given to someone on the waiting list.
