Books are checked out for two weeks (except for adult fiction books which are 3 weeks) and may be renewed 3 times if the item is not on hold.

Video games are checked out for one week and can be renewed one time.  There is a limit of 10 video games per card.

DVDs are checked out for one week if they have a NEW sticker and may be renewed once if the item is not on hold. All other DVDs are checked out for two weeks.

Fines: $.10 a day late fee for most items in the Library. $1 a day late fee is charged for new DVDs.

Default Replacement costs if the actual replacement cost is unknown:

• DVD/CD/video game cases: $1.00
• Playaway case: $6.00
• Playaway battery cover: $1.00
• Books, DVDs, CDs: $20.00
• Circulating basket: $10.00 (They cost over $15.00 to replace!)
• Paperbacks: $5.00
• Magazines: $5.00

We do NOT accept material replacement for lost items (i.e., mom offers to go and buy a paperback for our hardcover copy of a title–NOT a fair replacement) Also, we have to factor in the time it takes to reorder, catalog, prepare and shelve the replacement item.

Membership:

In Town Membership: free for adult and children ages 5 and up.
People who work in town: membership is free.
Out of Town Membership: Full year, $100; Seniors (65+with ID) $50; Six months $50; Three months $25

Full-year and Senior memberships are good for one year from date of purchase and are renewable for the same fee.
