Homebound Library Services Policy

Homebound service is available for Sparta Library patrons who are residents of Sparta, are restricted to their homes by medical necessity, and who have no one in the home who can provide this service for them.

Deliveries will be made by library staff. Patrons may borrow up to six (6) items, any material.  Patrons may not receive items on holds lists or interlibrary loans. This is due to the 4-week loan period.

Deliveries are contingent on weather conditions as determined by staff. Access to patron’s home must be clear.

This service is free.
